Toronto, ON, April 7, 2020 – Online furniture retailer Mim Concept today released its first-ever home collection called the Joey. Designed by Mim Concept’s lead designer, and former architect, Anh Ly, the new collection is a line of high quality, versatile, space-conscious, multi-use pieces designed for every urban living space.
Launching with four products, “Joey” Walnut wood bed with storage, “Mirah” complimentary nightstand, “Jerry” extendable dining table, and “Andy” walnut dining chair with vegan leather, the line will be available for purchase directly on the Mim Concept website. The pieces feature minimalistic design and American walnut wood that embody the design principle that less is more and form follows function.
For Anh Ly quitting architecture, and launching Mim Concept was a natural step for the designer.
“Long before my dream of architecture, the word ‘home’ had always had a deep and unique meaning, as much as we shape them, therefore our home also shapes us. In 2018 I left architecture. And decided to become a designer, entrepreneur, and a woman willing to take a risk. Architecture left me with design principles: minimalism is exquisite, less is more, and form follows function. With all my experiences Mim Concept brings affordable luxurious furniture that lasts and grows old with you.”
Mim Concept aims to help millennials create spaces that express who they are and support how they live their lives. The design team champions products that bring style and substance into the home while manufacturing processes stand in ethical practices and for every piece made a promise is made for a new tree to be planted. Now, with Mim Concept, well designed furniture that won’t break the bank can be part of every home.
The collection ranges from $285 – $1,355 and is available for purchase directly on the Mim Concept website.
